Australian Film Commission

Australian Film Finance Corporation
The Film Finance Corporation Australia (FFC) is the Government’s primary agency for funding screen production. It invests in a diverse range of feature films, adult television drama, children’s television drama and documentary.

The FFC’s mission is to strengthen cultural identity by providing opportunities for Australians to make and view their own screen stories. It only invests in projects with high levels of creative and technical contribution by Australians.

The Australian Film Institute (AFI) exists to foster engagement between the general public and the film industry.

Established in 1958, the AFI promotes Australian film and television through the annual AFI Awards and AFI film events throughout the year.
