FRIENDLY FIRE
Metro Screen Network Short Fim Friendly Fore is a 15 minute drama thriller short film that has received an equipment subsidy from the Metro Screen Network and will shoot in the last 2 weeks of November or first two weeks of December. Two Soldiers, A deserting muslim Iraqi Soldier and an injured Jewish American soldier come face to face in a bombed out bunker in Baghdad, at first trying to kill each other, but later discovering that they have more in common with the enemy than they were led to Believe.
This film is an attempt to address to both sides of the current war on terror that if they were to try and look beyond their differences, perhaps they will see similarities and possibly eve find ways to become friendly with each other. The Team making this film is Award winning director Ridwan Hassim and Alexandra Eva Hassim (THE BEACH short film and KHATABAH). John Ogden is the DOP. Will be shot using a Sony HVR A1P camera to create a doco mood and feel. Primary location: Metro Studio and 2 other locations. Shot over 7 days.
As this is a self funded project we are Seeking volunteer cast and crew, and everyone we work with will be repaid with a continuing relationship in future projects. We are working towards making a feature in 2009. We are also considering developing this project into a feature film and the team onboard this project will continue to the feature (cet par).

SAMANTHA LARNED: - American soldier. - late 20’s, boyish looking female (or with a short hair cut).
AMERICAN MILITARY GENERAL- voice role- male with a deep voice
EXTRAS: to act as American/Iraqi Soldiers.
