Advanced Editing with Final Cut Pro 6

For those with a good working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, this course takes you beyond everyday skills and delves into the art of editing. Learn storytelling techniques and approaches used in editing complex dialogue, multi-camera sequences, music video, chases, fight scenes and comedy. You will also learn about managing media, advanced clip management, sound editing and advanced features of Final Cut Pro.
This course is appropriate for editors who have completed Metro Screen’s Final Cut Pro Intermediate course, or who have a thorough understanding of Final Cut Pro.
TUTOR | Adrian Rostirolla. Adrian graduated from AFTRS with a Masters in Drama Editing where he edited Oscar nominated Birthday Boy, winner of a BAFTA for Best Short Animation. He went on to edit the feature film Kokoda which secured him a nomination for best editing at the 2006 Inside Film Awards. Adrian edited two TV commissioned long form documentaries; Bomb Harvest and The Fibros And The Silvertails which both premiered at the 2007 Sydney Film Festival to enthusiastic audiences. Bomb Harvest will have a cinema release in October 2007. His second drama feature, Gabriel will be released in cinemas by Sony Pictures in November 2007.
