Camera and Lighting Techniques

Techniques for the aspiring cinematographer. This course will take you through camera operation and functions, lighting design, filters, lenses, scene coverage and camera movement. Designed for the low budget DOP, you will explore creative and effective ways to get the most out of your basic camera and lighting kit. Participants will use Metro Screen’s professional Sony DSR 450 broadcast quality cameras.
TUTOR | Heather Oxenham. With over twenty years of experience on both commercial and independent productions, Heather’s credits include Erskineville Kings, Kiss or Kill, Floating Life and Sebastian and the Sparrow. Sexy Thing, produced by Heather, was in the official selection for competition at Cannes Film festival 2006.
